Thank you to Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn and Congressman Gene Green for presenting a free preview screening of the documentary GENERATION FOUND on June 15 on Capitol Hill.

Now it’s time to take action! Ask your Senator or Representative to support the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) of 2016. The Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) of 2016 passed the Senate 94-1 and is now entering the conference process with this House of Representatives.

In the U.S. alone, addiction to alcohol and other drugs is the most pressing health issue of our time directly impacting 45 million Americans, and claiming more than 135,000 lives every year. For 9 out of 10 people addiction begins in adolescence. This film highlights a massive missing piece to the puzzle – the lack of youth recovery supports in nearly every community around the country, but Houston.

GENERATION FOUND is the Feature Documentary from Filmmakers Jeff Reilly and Greg Williams – Creators of the Ground-Breaking Addiction Recovery Documentary THE ANONYMOUS PEOPLE. GENERATION FOUND is a powerful story about one community coming together to ignite a youth addiction recovery revolution in their hometown. Devastated by an epidemic of addiction, Houston faced the reality of burying and locking up its young people at an alarming rate. And so in one of the largest cities in America, visionary counselors, law school dropouts, aspiring rock musicians, retired football players, oil industry executives, and church leaders came together to build the world’s largest peer-driven youth and family recovery community.

Screenings of GENERATION FOUND are now available for this fall through Gathr Films Theatrical On Demand® (TOD) release.
